Movies: Lucky Number Slevin: The best part of this movie was that I almost had no idea what was going on until the very end, and it was a good thing. This was probably in my top five movies of the year. It was action packed, halarious, and confusing. A definite must see.
Music: Toby Keith, Greatest Hits Volume 2: If you like good humored, in your face country music, then this is the one for you. You can't go wrong with songs about drinking and fighting crime featuring Willie Nelson.
Books: Eregon: This book is awsome! There's already a movie coming out for it, and a video game. The book is lord of the rings calaber, with much less drag. Rarely a dull moment, which is more than I can say for A Long-expected Party.
TV: Friday Night Lights: Who would have thought the lives of high school football players was so seedy? It must be a Texas thing. I had my doubts about the show before it came out, but I do enjoy it. I wish the story would progress a little faster though, because every episode is starting to be the same.
Video Games: Morrowind: This game takes a long time to beat, but it sure is fun to play (not to watch). It is a very in depth RPG, with a different battle system than most RPGs. You actually do all the swinging, rather than just saying attack. Hack and slash meets rpg, with a never ending storyline and open ends. |
